Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with special dietary requirements
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain organized living spaces
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinator
- Administer medication reminders and basic health monitoring
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Compassionate personality with patience and cultural sensitivity
- Reliable transportation for client assignments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
