Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Administer prescribed medications following strict protocols
- Create safe, engaging environments tailored to client preferences
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate updates to family members
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Background check and TB test clearance
