Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Lead cross-functional prototyping teams to validate quantum AI applications in healthcare logistics
- Develop error mitigation techniques for 1000+ qubit quantum processors
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical pipelines for real-time data analysis
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum computing methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA and NSF research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of securing research funding or patents
