Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-AI algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and machine learning engineers
- Develop ethical frameworks for advanced autonomous systems deployment
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with NASA, WHO, and Fortune 100 companies on 2026 roadmaps
- Drive commercialization of quantum-AI prototypes through our innovation incubator
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough research)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum processors and AI model optimization
- Published research in top-tier journals with 1000+ citations
- Expertise in Qiskit, TensorFlow Quantum, and D-Wave systems
- Proven track record of securing federal or corporate research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and NISQ-era limitations
- Experience leading international research consortia
