Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum-AI research roadmaps for 2026-2027 technology cycles
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum neural networks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, Science, NeurIPS)
- Secure and manage $5M+ in federal and private research grants
- Translate theoretical models into prototype quantum-AI systems
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
- Partner with industry leaders for real-world quantum computing applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development or quantum machine learning
- Proven track record of publishing in high-impact journals (h-index > 20)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong programming skills (Python, Qiskit, Cirq, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DOE, DARPA)
