Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-corrected quantum processors
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop patents for quantum AI applications in cryptography and drug discovery
- Mentor PhD researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq) or AI research
- Publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE Transactions)
- Expertise in Python/C++ with quantum simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in tensor networks or quantum machine learning
