Responsibilities
- Design quantum machine learning models for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop error-corrected quantum circuits for scalable AI workloads
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models to production systems
- Author high-impact publications in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in DoE/NASA grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum algorithm development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealers or gate-based systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Publication record in top-tier quantum/AI conferences
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Strong Python/C++ programming with ML frameworks
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
