Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for real-world optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid algorithms
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals/conferences
- Secure $1M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Develop patent-pending quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in machine learning architectures (transformers, GANs, RL)
- Publication record at NeurIPS/ICML/APS meetings
- Proficiency with cloud quantum services (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong Python/C++/Rust programming skills
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
