Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for pattern recognition optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum neural networks
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum)
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Drive patent development for proprietary quantum-AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in high-performance computing (HPC) architectures
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record of securing competitive research funding
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
