Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-AI frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit designs
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
- Develop patentable quantum AI methodologies for commercialization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development (Qiskit/Cirq experience required)
- Publication record in top-tier AI/quantum conferences (NeurIPS, QIP)
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum simulators
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding
- Strong background in deep learning architectures (transformers, GANs)
