Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural networks for AI acceleration
- Develop novel error-correction protocols for quantum processors
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping quantum-AI solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure federal and private research grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum-computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Published research in quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum libraries
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into prototypes
