Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for machine learning acceleration
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical systems integrating D-Wave, IBM Quantum, and custom silicon
- Develop error-correction protocols for 100+ qubit logical qubit operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in deploying quantum neural networks on cloud-native platforms
- Optimize quantum circuit compilation for NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Research novel quantum AI applications in drug discovery and climate modeling
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks like Qiskit and PennyLane
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum circuit design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (QASM, Q#) and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, ICML)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
