Responsibilities
- Architect quantum-AI hybrid systems leveraging 50+ qubit processors for complex optimization problems
- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms with error rates below 10^-9
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, ML engineers, and hardware specialists
- Develop real-time quantum-classical interfaces for enterprise applications
- Secure $5M+ in research grants for experimental validation
- Patent 2+ novel quantum computational methodologies annually
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# programming environments
- Proven track record deploying quantum processors with >99.9% fidelity
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Experience with AWS Braket or Azure Quantum cloud platforms
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts for executive stakeholders
