Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise applications
- Optimize quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models into scalable solutions
- Author white papers and patents for quantum computing advancements
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
- Secure research grants and partnerships with academic institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or error-corrected systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum cryptography or machine learning
- Deep understanding of Shor's/Grover's algorithms and their limitations
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
