Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to optimize algorithm performance on quantum processors
- Develop post-quantum cryptographic protocols resistant to quantum attacks
- Create simulation environments for quantum algorithm testing and validation
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Document quantum algorithm implementations and publish findings in top-tier journals
- Mentor junior developers on quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Cirq, Qiskit)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with quantum circuit optimization and error mitigation techniques
- Published research in quantum computing or related field preferred
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware constraints and hybrid quantum-classical systems
