Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for NP-hard optimization problems
- Implement hybrid quantum-classical workflows on AWS Braket
- Collaborate with cryptographers on quantum-resistant security protocols
- Optimize quantum error correction codes for fault-tolerant systems
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and speak at conferences
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum information science
- Deep understanding of Shor's/Grover's algorithms
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
- Clearance for DoD quantum research projects
