Responsibilities
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms for enterprise applications
- Optimize quantum circuit implementations on IBM and Rigetti systems
- Collaborate with cryptographers to develop NIST-standardized protocols
- Lead quantum simulation projects using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Document algorithm specifications and security proofs
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or cryptography
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing
- Understanding of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
