Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems with real-world applications
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance quantum system reliability
- Create hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize algorithm performance on quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communication protocols
- Translate complex quantum concepts into patentable innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams with physicists and software engineers
