Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for real-world industry applications
- Optimize quantum circuits for error correction and scalability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate algorithms into executable quantum programs
- Research and implement hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Document methodologies and publish findings in leading scientific journals
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI, cryptography, and materials science teams
- Stay current with emerging quantum computing standards and protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum computing
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability, and complex analysis
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical computer science
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Expertise in at least one classical high-performance language (Python/C++)
