Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems leveraging superconducting qubits and topological approaches
- Design error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip designs
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable business strategies
- Drive patent development and publish research in top-tier journals
- Shape industry standards through IEEE and Quantum Computing Consortium involvement
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum research into commercial applications
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences
