Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 10,000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead integration of quantum algorithms with classical HPC infrastructure
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical AI frameworks for 2026-era applications
- Drive quantum cryptography implementations for next-gen security protocols
- Mentor quantum engineering teams through patent development cycles
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or qubit design
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Proven track record architecting complex quantum systems (10+ qubit implementations)
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning algorithms
- Certification in quantum hardware engineering (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or similar)
- Experience securing DARPA/NSF quantum computing grants
