Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to optimize computational efficiency
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen communication networks
- Drive patent development for proprietary quantum gate optimization techniques
- Present breakthrough architectures to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Research emerging quantum hardware innovations (superconducting, photonic, topological)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable implementations
- Security clearance eligibility (required for government projects)
