Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for industrial and research applications
- Lead the development of quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip integration and control systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization and cryptography
- Drive research initiatives in quantum supremacy applications and hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Mentor junior researchers and present breakthrough findings at international conferences
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies and system designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction, fault tolerance, and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in R&D environments
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and cryogenic system integration
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
