Responsibilities
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise deployment
- Design quantum-resistant encryption protocols for next-gen cybersecurity
- Develop quantum error correction systems achieving 99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Optimize quantum circuits for specific hardware constraints (superconducting, photonic)
- Conduct performance benchmarking against classical HPC systems
- Translate quantum research into patentable technical solutions
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Publication record in Nature/Science quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with low-level hardware integration
- Experience with quantum annealing (D-Wave, etc.)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theory
