Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 99.9% fault tolerance
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams across physics, software, and hardware domains
- Implement quantum-safe encryption protocols for critical infrastructure
- Drive R&D initiatives in topological qubit stabilization techniques
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite and government partners
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D funding through technical proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain it
- Proven track record of leading quantum hardware-software integration
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant solutions
