Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption systems for 2026 security standards
- Present breakthrough research at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics and computational theory
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in superconducting qubits and ion-trap systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with quantum machine learning and quantum simulation
- Strong background in topological quantum computing and fault tolerance
- Security clearance preferred for government contract work
