Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for practical computational applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to maintain qubit coherence in large-scale systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Lead quantum software development initiatives using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-generation encryption systems
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in leading quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance principles
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
