Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum error correction frameworks achieving 99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Create quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- File patents for novel quantum algorithms and system designs
- Present quantum roadmaps to executive stakeholders and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation and control systems
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Strong background in cryptography and information theory
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum concepts into business value
