Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction systems achieving fault-tolerant operations
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects with semiconductor partners
- Produce technical roadmaps for quantum adoption across finance, healthcare, and logistics sectors
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Secure $5M+ in quantum computing research grants from DARPA and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and topological qubit systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in Nature or IEEE journals on quantum computing
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for executive stakeholders
