Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 99.9% reliability
- Lead quantum error correction protocol development for fault-tolerant operations
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning pipelines
- Develop quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography applications
- Research and prototype novel quantum hardware interfaces
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, ion trap)
- Proven track record of optimizing quantum circuits for NISQ devices
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
