Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits for 100+ qubit systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on quantum processor optimization
- Secure $2M+ R&D funding through federal and private grants
- Author white papers for IEEE and Nature Quantum journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubit architectures
- Expertise in quantum machine learning applications
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
