Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to maintain quantum coherence in large-scale systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and control systems
- Create quantum algorithms for machine learning, cryptography, and optimization problems
- Lead research into topological quantum computing and fault-tolerant systems
- Document architecture specifications and conduct performance benchmarking
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
