The Opportunity:
We seek a Quantum Computing Architect to design and implement breakthrough quantum systems. Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Collaborate with materials scientists to optimize qubit coherence times
- Architect quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption standards
- Drive quantum simulation projects for drug discovery and materials science
- Mentor a team of quantum engineers and research scientists
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing hardware or software architecture
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
