Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological qubits
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems for real-world applications
- Collaborate with research teams to optimize quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum physics principles and hardware design
- Drive innovation in quantum networking protocols for distributed quantum computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit fabrication and control systems
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems and low-temperature electronics
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and post-NISQ roadmap strategies
