Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Drive R&D for quantum algorithm optimization in pharmaceutical discovery
- Establish quantum security frameworks for 2026-era infrastructure
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams in quantum-classical interface design
- Author patents for novel quantum hardware architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computational Physics
- 5+ years experience with quantum hardware development (IBM/Google/D-Wave)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit design tools
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
