Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using Qiskit, Cirq, and proprietary frameworks
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists to deliver quantum solutions
- Conduct performance benchmarking and optimization of quantum circuits on real quantum hardware
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies including topological qubits and quantum error correction
- Create technical documentation and patents for novel quantum methodologies and systems
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to deploy quantum solutions in finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical optimization frameworks
- Proven track record of developing production-level quantum algorithms and systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction, fault tolerance, and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms including IBM Quantum, Rigetti, and D-Wave
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
