Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems leveraging 100+ qubit processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Design error mitigation protocols for industrial-scale quantum networks
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Translate quantum computing requirements into engineering specifications
- Drive patent development for proprietary quantum architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Demonstrated experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science journals or IEEE Transactions
- Knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerance roadmaps
- Experience leading quantum computing R&D teams
