Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve 99.9% fidelity in multi-qubit operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research and prototype novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography
- Establish quantum security frameworks for next-gen communication networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate operations
- Document architecture blueprints and publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC) and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Experience leading complex technical projects with $1M+ budgets
- Strong background in cryogenic systems and RF engineering for quantum control
- Ability to translate theoretical quantum models into practical engineering solutions
