Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols achieving 99.9% logical fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Define hardware-software co-design specifications for quantum-classical interfaces
- Research emerging quantum materials and fabrication techniques
- Author technical white papers and patents for quantum breakthroughs
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum supremacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum circuit design or superconducting systems
- Proficiency in QASM, Qiskit, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Prior experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals or equivalent conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface/colour codes)
- Security clearance eligibility for government quantum projects
