Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting and photonic qubit technologies
- Design error correction protocols achieving 99.9% qubit fidelity for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for drug discovery and optimization
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography implementations
- Partner with hardware teams to design cryogenic control systems at millikelvin temperatures
- Create roadmaps for quantum advantage achievement in finance and logistics sectors
- Author patents and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC) and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mechanisms and mitigation strategies
- Experience with superconducting fabrication processes or photonic quantum systems
- Track record of leading quantum projects with $10M+ budgets
