Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms targeting optimization and simulation breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen data infrastructure
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at global tech conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information science fundamentals
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on 2026 quantum space exploration initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum development frameworks
- Experience leading quantum computing projects with $1M+ budgets
