Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects with 50+ member teams
- Drive research in quantum error correction and topological qubit systems
- Collaborate with NASA, IBM, and MIT on quantum supremacy initiatives
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Summits and Nature journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and PhD candidates
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms (IBM, Rigetti)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
