Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms and circuits for commercial applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Develop error mitigation protocols for quantum processors achieving 100+ qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonics)
- Create security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Patent novel quantum methodologies and publish in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms or ion trap systems
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in high-performance computing architectures (HPC)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Track record of leading projects from theoretical concept to commercial deployment
