Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with error correction capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption systems
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum materials and cryogenic engineering
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
- Contribute to industry standards through IEEE and ACM quantum working groups
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit or trapped-ion systems
- Track record of translating quantum theory into practical enterprise solutions
