Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum security protocols
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on quantum communication standards
- Author white papers on quantum machine learning breakthroughs
- Prototype quantum error correction systems at cryogenic temperatures
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years designing quantum circuits or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms
- Clearance for government quantum projects preferred
