Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Develop error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems by 2026
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Create quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography applications
- Lead research on topological qubit implementations
- Document quantum system specifications and integration standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Proficiency in low-level system programming (C++, Python, Rust)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Strong background in quantum information theory
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable engineering plans
