Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems with 100+ qubit scalability by 2026
- Design hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity
- Secure $10M+ in research grants and partnerships with academic institutions
- Mentor junior researchers and publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science journals
- Drive roadmap for quantum supremacy applications in enterprise environments
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in superconducting qubit systems and quantum gate operations
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical simulation tools
- Experience leading R&D teams with $5M+ budgets and cross-continental collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into scalable hardware prototypes
