Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 1000+ qubit capacity by 2026
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum error correction research achieving fault-tolerant thresholds
- Architect cryogenic control systems with sub-millisecond latency
- Partner with hardware teams to integrate photonic and superconducting qubits
- Define quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum system architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC codes)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent venues
- Experience leading quantum hardware-software co-design projects
