Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for real-world applications
- Optimize quantum algorithms for IBM Quantum and Rigetti systems
- Create fault-tolerant quantum memory solutions
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid machine learning frameworks
- Lead quantum security protocol implementations
- Mentor junior researchers on quantum coherence techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stability improvements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC)
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing frameworks
