Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing hardware and hybrid classical-quantum systems
- Develop quantum-resistant security frameworks for 2026-era threats
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum processors with >1000 qubits
- Optimize cryogenic cooling systems and quantum control electronics
- Design fault-tolerant quantum networks with sub-millisecond latency
- Create quantum simulation environments for AI training pipelines
- Research emerging quantum materials for next-gen qubit fabrication
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing infrastructure design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuits
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
- Fluency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware programming
